sotto voce blues, a new series comprising intimate words transferred onto the artist’s indigo dyed handmade paper. The writing delicately negotiates the interference of a vertical fault line running down the centre of each singular work. Sometimes certain, sometimes not, these lyrical dispatches grapple with the vulnerabilities triggered by questions of status, exclusion and supremacism.
